Auto insurance is one of the most common types of insurance that we are familiar with.  There are several reasons for that.  Many states, such as Texas, require you to carry auto insurance when you operate a motor vehicle.  Texas requires you to carry liability insurance on your motor vehicle.  You are also required to show proof of auto insurance before you can license your vehicle, renew your driver's license, and upon state inspection.  Also, autos are one of the bigger investments most of us will make.  That's why its important to have adequate auto insurance coverage.  Who knows what may lie ahead.
